Brownstone Project is run by Omari Toomer, a Corcoran real estate salesperson with 22+ years of experience and a hands-on track record turning over and refreshing the same kinds of buildings he sells.
Most renovation and prep work gets scoped by people who've never had to sell the result. Brownstone Project comes from the other direction — two decades spent inside Brooklyn's townhouses and multifamilies as a real estate salesperson, paired with direct, hands-on experience running property turnovers, listing prep, and exterior renovation work across North Brooklyn.
That combination means every recommendation is grounded in what actually moves a sale, or actually improves how a building lives day to day — not a generic checklist applied to every job the same way.
Omari approaches every property analytically, drawing on an engineering background from Brown University, and works as a solo operator across North Brooklyn (Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Williamsburg, Crown Heights, Bushwick, Greenpoint, Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights) and Western Queens (Ridgewood, Woodhaven, Glendale, Cypress Hills).
“The same eye that scopes a renovation is the one that has to stand behind the sale price later. That's the whole idea.”
